This Zephyr Dry Stone Core Bit is designed for use on the job site without using water. Fits on a high-speed angle grinder with a 5/8”-11 spindle. Dry Bits work differently than wet bits in that the high RPM speed cools the bit during use. Spin at 7,000 RPM for larger and 11,000 RPM for smaller diameters. You will find that the Dusted Laser Dry Stone bit will drill a hole in 3 cm material very quickly. The Laser Welded segment assures that it will stay on throughout the whole life of the drill bit.
