ALPHA Eco Guard Hybrid Dust Collection Cover for Cutting
Alpha introduces the new Ecoguard designed for collecting dust when using our High-Speed Angle Grinder. The Ecoguard Type C is for use when cutting with dry blades up to 5” in diameter. It is made of high-quality construction for heavy-duty applications. This hybrid dust collection cover eliminates the mess and can be used with or without a vacuum! Alpha has expanded its Ecoguard line for cutting applications to include a dust collection cover for wider blades. Introducing the Ecoguard Type W. Unlike the Ecoguard Type C which uses a supplied dust collection bag, the Ecoguard Type W must be used with a vacuum, or other dust collection system, to successfully collect the dust and larger particles derived from using wider kerf diamond blades such as the Alpha Tuck Pointing or Crack Chasing blades. The Ecoguard Type W includes three unique features. First is the ability to easily adjust the cutting depth by using a simple wing nut operation. The second is the nose guide that indicates the cut line and the third is the ability to view inside the cover, while cutting, due to the clear polycarbonate material Construction. This feature is quite useful during Tuck Pointing applications. Introducing the Ecoguard Type M a.k.a. Spark Buster for making it possible to utilize a high-speed angle grinder for metal cutting applications. When equipped with a Carbide-tipped blade, the Ecoguard Type M eliminates the dangerous kick-back on hand-held grinders as well as minimizes sparks, debris and odor. This new system cuts angle iron, c-channel, conduit, schedule 40, spiral duct, galvanized roofing, metal studs, rebar, stainless steel, aluminum plates and bars, steel plates, threaded rods and unistrut. Perfect for all your metal cutting needs! Accepts any 5" or smaller diameter blade with 7/8" arbor. Fits most popular high-speed grinders. Rugged construction for heavy-duty application.
